Back 2 Base Monitoring Terms & Conditions:

Service Agreement:
By subscribing to our Back to Base monitoring service, you agree to the terms outlined in this agreement. The service is provided under an annual subscription model, invoiced per month, quarterly in advance.

Payment Terms & Service Suspension:
All invoices are due by the specified due date. Failure to pay by the due date will result in an automatic suspension of monitoring services. A reconnection fee will apply to restore suspended services. A reconnection fee of $60.00 will be charged to reactivate the service.

Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel your monitoring service at any time with a minimum of 30 days written notice. If cancellation occurs within the first 12 months, a disconnection fee of $90.00 will apply.

Communication Failures:
Protec Security Systems cannot be held responsible or be liable for any form of service disruptions due to factors beyond our control, such as power outages, internet or cellular network disruptions, or faulty devices.

Client-Provided Internet:
If the monitoring services utilises a client-provided internet connection. The client is solely responsible for ensuring that the internet service remains am active and stable connection. Additional power backup solutions, such as an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), may be required to ensure internet service is not impacted.

Monitoring Coverage Via Cellular Interface (If Applicable):
Where applicable, monitoring services will be supported by either Telstra or Optus, based on the availability of cellular network coverage.

Term of Service:
The service is provided on an ongoing basis with automatic renewal unless cancelled as per the cancellation policy.

Liability Limitations:
Our liability is limited to the provision of monitoring services only. Protec Security Systems cannot be held liable for any losses or damages resulting from failure to detect an incident or communication disruptions.
